IPL 2019: A Look Into Each Team's Ace Player

IPL 2019 is the most anticipated tournament besides world cup and is about to begin in a few days. All the teams and their major players are back to fight yet another wonderful fight to claim the title this year. The teams comprise most of the old players, but they are also renewed with some fresh faces. Fresh or veteran, as we know, there is one player in every team that might play a key role in leading it towards their victory. Colin Munro

Currently ranked second in ICC T20 rankings, Colin Munro is a New Zealand player now playing for Delhi Capitals in IPL 2019. The man has an impeccable record and can be destructive in the ground with his bat. Given his ranking, he is an ace player and can play a key role in the team’s victories.

Rohit Sharma

The captain of Mumbai Indians has his own records of being the best in all the three formats. He had led Mumbai Indians through to three IPL titles and has always been one of the reliable players of the team.

MS Dhoni

The man has no competition when it comes to performing and captaining. He had been the captain of CSK since the beginning and he is one of the best players of the team. He had led the CSK team to finals in 7 seasons and there is no doubt that he will lead it to its victory this year.

Virat Kohli

Kohli had been on the path of breaking records since he entered international crickets. He has so many records in his name that he is being compared with Sachin Tendulkar. The man is currently in the top position in ICC ODI Rankings and he had a good track record in performing in IPL. He can be leading RCB into the finals this year.

Sunil Narine

The highest paid player in Kolkata Knight Riders team, Sunil Narine is a West Indian player that has one of the most impeccable records in IPL. He is the best performing player in most of the seasons and he holds the record of hitting a half-century in just 15 balls next to Lokesh Rahul of KXIP who did it in 14. The man is a key player and is going to be one of the best in IPL 12.

Chris Gayle

RCB let go of Chris Gayle and he has been a part of KXIP since then. The man can hit match-winning centuries singlehandedly and has many records to his name in the previous seasons of IPL and if any of his calamitous performances repeats in this season, he will be the favorite of all.

Kane Williamson

Kane Williamson of New Zealand had played for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the previous season of IPL. He was the Orange Cap winner in IPL 2018 and is one of the top players of SRH. The man might repeat his fantastic performance again leading SRH to its title.

Steve Smith

Another Australian player that is in the spotlight for his unbelievable batting skills and resilience. The man had always been one of the best in his game. He had been unable to play in the previous season of IPL due to a ball tampering charge. Since he is back with the team, he might play a key role this year.
